We’re thrilled to support our friends at the STTE Foundation as they host the biggest AI hackathon in our region—happening April 25–27, 2025—and we need YOU, our healthcare community, to get involved!
If you’ve never seen a hackathon in action:
👀 Picture a high-energy weekend where teams of students (from The University of Texas at El Paso!), developers, entrepreneurs, and industry experts come together to tackle real-world problems, build working solutions, and pitch their ideas—all in just a couple of days.
(Past winners have even gone on to launch companies and secure funding)
🔍 Here’s what we'd love from YOU—especially if you work in a healthcare organization:
💡 Submit a "pain point" challenge—teams will work on real problems submitted by people with industry expertise. Got a real problem healthcare is facing? Something that AI might help solve? Submit your "pain point" so a team of innovators take a crack at it.
🏆 Be a mentor or judge—we're looking for experienced professionals to lend their expertise to help teams shape meaningful solutions and provide honest, helpful feedback on the healthcare-related ideas.
